Fairfield Commons Phase 1 is a 25-unit supportive housing development project that was built in 2014. Sources of public and private financing were combined for this project, including McKinney-Vento Act Homeless Assistance funding and project based vouchers from the Stamford Housing Authority. Phase 1 contained 5 historic homes containing 19 units and 6 units creating a supportive housing village with a central green and club house. Phase 2 was a 6-unit, 2 story housing building built to match Phase 1. The final phase took 8 months to complete.
